Summer Fun!

They were going crazy pounding on the table but by the time I started recording they were slowing down.  I almost always feed them on the trays that attach to their little booster seats, but once in a while I will put the food on the table and push them up to it.  They love this!  I think they really feel part of the group while we are eating dinner.  Emmy is kind of mellow in this video.  She isn't smiling or squealing as much a she normally does.  When she is happy she is always squealing these days.  It's a cute squeal, not an annoying one that pierces your ears.
Bryant loves to do this to Tommy.  Tommy puts his face down on Bryant's and they laugh!
Mike brought this hammock home one day and set it up.  It has been hours of fun for everyone.
Doesn't this looks like  a perfect Sunday afternoon!

After dinner I put this leftover yogurt I had been feeding the babies up on the table.  For the first time, Emmy reached up there, probably on her tippy toes, and swiped something off!!  Of course it was a yogurt!  She didn't waste any time having fun because I was in the room with her the whole time and looked over at her and there she was as happy as can be!!  I think she was pretty proud of herself.
I thought he looked so cute with his naked arms coming out of his bib!  He's eating Kix cereal.  Tommy has gotten attached to a soft, blue blanket.  It is so cute to see him when he sees it!  He gets so excited.  His favorite thing to do is to stuff it in his mouth when he is going to sleep!!  It's like his pacifier!  I think it's the cutest thing.  Bryant also has a soft, blue blanket that he has loved since he was a baby and so he thinks it's the greatest thing to see Tommy love a blanket like his.  They look very much alike except that Bryant's looks a little more thread bare.  When Bryant was a baby we started calling his blanket a "dee dee".  We got the name from his uncle.  Well it stuck and now we are telling Tommy that his blanket is his dee dee.  Knowing Tommy it wont be long and he'll be saying it!
Sometimes Emmy bites her finger when she is feeding herself.  She gets so mad about it and I just can't help but laughing!  I've taught them two signs while eating.  One sign is for "more" and another sign is for "all done".  Well Tommy has the "all done" sign down and Emmy has the "more" sign learned!  It's so fun to watch them do it!
Look at all those curls!!!  I just put a little baby lotion in her hair and it curls up all over like this.  Then I spend the rest of the day kissing those cute curls!  I love the front view of her with her curls popping out above her ears.
Emmy has been standing up in the middle of the room and balancing for a while now.  She loves to do it for an audience and she REALLY loves it when we all clap and cheer for her!  She loves to be on stage, it's so cute!  Well this Tuesday she really showed off!  Vivi, Erica, and Erica's friend Clara and I were all in the kitchen together.  I was on the floor with Emmy and she wanted to stand.  When she stood up I put my arms out to her and said, come on!  She looked at each of our faces with  all eyes on her and I watched her smile get bigger and new she had decided to brave up and do it because she had a great audience!  She took her first two steps!!!!  We all clapped and cheered for her and she LOVED it!  I could tell that she was very happy with herself!  That's our Emmy Doll!!
